Hee Haw, Hee Haw
It was so neat to be up close and personal with these beautiful creatures. My girls couldn't get enough of them! At times I wandered which way I would rather have it, enjoying them from afar or having them eat out of my hand, it was kinda uncomfortable, for me anyway, my kids thought it was great!
Thank goodness for cameras with zoom! What playful looking creatures!

This was sooo neat! We bought some nectar that comes in a little plastic cup that you are told to hold very tightly as you enter into the bird aviary. Once inside these beautiful Larakeets flew right on you and began drinking the nectar. I was totally intimidated by the birds and didn't want to feed them, but my girls were so excited about it. I couldn't stop laughing when we were in there, the birds were all over my girls...until the nectar was gone. Now the girls ask non stop if we can get a pet bird.
