Our second day in Sea World we went to the dolphin show, we were running late and ended up sitting in the front row, I knew it was the splash zone, but COME ON!! This was a little excessive! Michelle and Rachel were bawling, I was hiding behind my jacket so that saved my hair anyway, and Dave was hiding behind Rachel!, not really, but we were seriously drenched.

Sand Diego Here we .come!! As soon as we pulled in we went straight to Sea World which was magical. The girls loved it! We saw the "Believe" show twice, you can't get enough of watching killer whales and people mingle so intimately! The first time we sat in the splash zone and boy did we get wet! The second time we were wiser and enjoyed lunch and a show from the upper seats.

My neighbor and I share a plot of dirt in between our yards, so we have planted a garden! I am so excited, these veggies are like my little babies! It is sooo fun to watch them grow from tiny plants into fruit bearing plants! I am learning a lot with this trial and error garden. We have planted squash, zucchini, peppers, spinach, red leaf lettuce, tomatoes, an artichoke, strawberries and some cucumbers that failed miserably...any advice? Everything else seems to be getting stronger every day.

Maddie's 1st grade field trip to Butterfield Farm. This girl has always loved animals, so this was a special treat for her and I got to go along too! We walked from their elementary school to the farm which was about half a mile up the road. It was so fun to see Maddie in her element, surrounded by friends and animals. Can life get better than that?

Her cute teacher Mrs. Harris looks like one of the kids, she is so tiny and she is expecting twin boys her first time around!

You may notice all the kids wearing matching shirts, you can't see very well, but the shirts were darling. All the kids in the class got to draw a self portrait, and then they were scanned onto their t-shirts. All the kids have one, and it's like one big class picture on their shirts, sooo cute!

Look what we have been doing!!! Wouldn't it be great to have Rachel potty trained before baby #4 comes along!? I have never had two kids in diapers and I don't plan on starting now, so here we go...

I know, I know. Everyone is getting sick of my boring blog with no updates! Well, I sat down to fix that, and low and behold the cord I use to transfer pics. for my camera to my computer is not working!!

Never fear, my mom has the exact same camera and is not in the least bit camera savvy, so I am hoping to get my hands on her cord and then get this blog updated!

I have lots to report, we just got back from a week long adventure in San Diego where we visited Sea World, the San Diego Zoo and the Wild Animal Park. It was a cooler week but we managed to get in our swimming suits several times and enjoy the hotels heated pool. Madison stole the show at the zoo when she was called up out of the crowd to meat a sea lion by the name of Jake. There was an instant connection between the two! Maddie, as you can imagine was thrilled! She was able to fee Jake fish and squid, and they even shared a kiss! I caught it all on camera and can't wait to share the pictures!

My mom had her lasik surgery on May 16th. She had mono vision done which means one eye was corrected for distance which is now 20/20 and the other eye was corrected so she can read w/out glasses. Her recovery is going well, and she is amazed at how much she can see. It does take some time for your brain to adjust to the mono vision, but she is already thrilled about her results! Isn't it amazing what we can do with this advanced technology?! She was visiting me the other day and she was able to thread a needle w/out glasses for the first time in over 20 yrs! That is a major accomplishment for her! She has to laugh at how instinctive it is for her to reach for her glasses, that normally would be found on the top of her head, but now she doesn't need them! What a miracle!

Last but not least, I am scheduled to have my ultrasound on Monday, June 2nd, so hopefully we can find out what this little baby is! I want everyone to know, yes we hope it's a boy, but we are really good with girls and will manage having four girls just fine too. We will keep you posted and check back for pictures!

VICTORY!! WE DID IT!!! A huge shout out to EVERYONE that voted! My mom had no words, just screams! She is sooooo excited! I called the radio station back after I had calmed down, to ask how many votes she had, but because of the privacy act they couldn't be specific, but he did say he remembered #4 getting above and beyond what even the second winner got! We blew them all out of the water! I was just one vote, but with all of you we were too many to count! My mom is so touched by everyone who participated even those who have never met her! She is truly overwhelmed by every one's efforts and the outcome! Thank you for helping make this a Mother's Day she will never forget!
