10 yrs ago:

I was up at Rick's College having the time of my life! I loved it up there. There is a special spirit on that campus! I had the best roommates and and friends and just way too much fun! The best part about my experience up there was finding Dave! Exactly 10 yrs ago, Jan. 1998, I was being prepared to meet him! I would be introduced by a friend and then on March 27th he would take me to Cabaret on July 9th he would propose and that sealed the deal!

5 things on my to do list:

do some loads of laundry, fold the laundry, iron the wrinkled clothes that have been sittinging in the laundry baskets for 3 days, return book that's late to the library, pick Maddie up from school.

Snacks I enjoy:

a fresh tortilla with butter and cinnamon and sugar, yogurt, cereal, trail mix, granola bar, chips and salsa(heated with cheese)

What would I do if I were suddenly made a billionaire?

I would buy a new kitchen table, a bedroom set, pay off my cars, pay off my student loans, go buy my dream house, buy a private island in the Philippines for Dave for his birthday
buy Madison a horse, buy Michelle a hamster farm, and pay someone to potty train Rachel.

3 of my bad habits:

Pushing snooze on the alarm, running late, procrastination

5 places I have lived:

1.Arroyo Grande, CA 2. Kaysville, UT 3. Centerville, UT 4.Rexburg, ID 5. Las Vegas, NV

Jobs I have had:

burger flipper at Dairy Queen, capaccino maker and bagel slicer at Einstiens Bagels, frozen yogurt toppin and sandwich loadin at Hoggie Yogie, order filling, paper counting, and invoicing at Making Memories, taking calls and greeting people as a receptionist at E.Excel, helping people with their skin care problems at Advanced Aesthetics and Glymed Plus, being a proud mother of 3 beautiful girls...this job I will keep.

Things people don't know about me:

I am addicted to chapstick and lotion, I don't usually wash my face at night cause I am too tired, I love to suck on those hall vitamin c drops just for fun, I love to scare Dave, I could eat cereal all day long, I shovled snow for the first time two weeks ago, I love cream soda, I don't like sunflowers anymore, I gave myself the middle name Michelle, I would love to have twin boys!

Glen Beck's tribute to President Hinckley

As you can see I am very happy to finally have some professional family pictures taken! Can't beat Target! Here are some of the girls...didn't they turn out soooo cute!!

Our beloved Prophet has returned home. How I wish I could see his reunion with his sweet wife, with past prophets but mostly I wish I could see his reunion with the Savior. How sweet that reunion must be, to be welcomed wholeheartedly into the arms of Him to whom you have dedicated your life.

I will miss seeing him at conference time, miss feeling the reverence for him as he entered a room, and miss seeing him wave entergetically his cane as he exited. His powerful spirit was felt by all and his sweet humor appreciated by all.

I love and revere him as our Prophet called and now welcomed home by God.
Sad but true....

Dave and I have been married for 8 yrs and we have only had one, count it one, family picture taken and that was when Madison was 2 years old!!! Isn't that sad! It's been 5 yrs since then and 2 more kids!

So, I am happy to announce that 2 weeks ago we got an updated, very updated family photo taken! I get to pick up the pictures tomorrow and once I do, believe me, they will be posted on my blog! I am so excited!

About three nights ago Michelle woke up in the middle of the night crying because her ear hurt. Dave, bless his heart got up with her and tried to calm her down. She seems to get these fairly often. She asked for a blessing, and the blessing she was able to fall asleep again. All of this happened while I was deep asleep.

So, the next morning Michelle is up and happy as ever, and the story of the previous night was told to me. After we talked about how special blessing are and how neat it was the Heavenly Father helped her to feel better, I told her we needed to give her a bath, she then said, "ok, but I don't want to wash my hair." I said, "Why?" Michelle then said, "Because I want to keep the blessing on."

I need to be better at writing down the funny things that come out of that girls mouth!

I HATE HAMSTERS!!!

Who knew the little buggers could bite through leather! I think that the pet store should have a little disclaimer by their cages telling you all the the things these varmits are capable of biting through!

Immediately after I discovered the damage I posted Michelle's little hamster on KSL for adoption. It was only the love the child has for this furry little creature that kept me from posting it...for very long.

But....if it happens again, asta la vista little hammy!
