Hello Family and Friends,

KNRS is having a contest for free Lasik eye surgery and I have nominated my mom. She has worn glasses since she was 40 and now she is 62. She is blind as a bat without them, and half the time she doesn't know where her glasses are. She has looked into getting this surgery done for years, but something financially pressing always seems to come up and this gets pushed to the back burner. The winner of this contest is simply the person who gets the most votes so please take the time to vote, voting starts on April 21st and by going to this link you can view the pictures, I posted the above picture and it is photo #4. Please, Please vote, forward the link to all your family and friends and tell them to vote on #4!! What a fun mother's day gift this would be, giving her, her gift of sight back without the hassle of glasses!

I have to tell a funny story about this girl, although words will not do it justice. You have to imagine Madison telling it to me and Dave and acting it out. It was hilarious.

Ok, so after school one day Madison says she wants to tell me what happened to her at school. This particular day she had her hair really curly from braids she had slept on from the night before, which always makes her feel extra cute.

So, she said she was walking down the hall and this boy saw her and pointed his index finger with thumb up like a gun, and made a clicking noise at her and nodded, (signifying that he thought she was cute.) I then asked her what she did, and she proceeded to show me her reaction. She took in a short breath, hand to mouth, smiled shyly at him and shifted her eyes away and then proceeded to "walk fancy" as she described down the hall.

Dave and I laughed and laughed, what are we in for!

Happy Easter! I didn't get too many pictures of this wonderful day, but our girls did look super cute on Sunday in their new dresses and we spent the day feasting, hunting for candy eggs and coloring our own eggs. Here are a few pictures of my girls early in the morning discovering their easter baskets, complete with a stuffed bunny...of course!

I love Super Saturdays!!
