My school girls! Madison is a big 3rd grader and Michelle is our Kindergartner. They just finished (in the nick of time) a brand new two story elementary school right by our house. We have watched it be built from start to finish. The girls LOVE it! And so far they are enjoying their teachers and new friends in their classes. Although, on Michelle's second day of school she came home crying, it took me awhile to get the full story, it started out that everyone was beating her up, and then she was lonely and then she just missed me. I can handle that! I soaked in the moment cause I knew it would be short lived, today she happily reported that she didn't miss me at all!
Blast from the past! I was 14 in this picture, not a care in the world, except for how I was going to get my hands on another can of aerosol hairspray!

SISTERS!

wanna see what I can do?

Crazy thing is, I don't know who took these pictures!

SUMMER FUN!!

Madison finished her second grade year at Herriman Elementary with a bang! She received the High Flying Hawk award for the second year in a row. You have to complete 16 of 20 goals to get the gold medal!

We are proud of Madison and how hard she has worked throughout the school year! Thanks Mrs. Neilson for a great school year!

He had a birthday shout hurray! On June 22 Dave turned 32! We attempted a football reeses card (it's the thought right?!) The girls got him some flip flops, a shirt, and a few other things he needed. We sure love the only He-Man around our house!
St. George Family Reunion June 2009

We went to St. George over a long weekend and enjoyed family, good food, wave running and the warm St. George sun! Thanks for a fun time Family!
Wrapping up a year of Kinder Cottage..

Michelle absolutely loved Kinder Cottage and Mrs. Cameon. They had a fun filled year or field trips to the candy factory, fire station, dentist office, bakery, dominos pizza and more.

Michelle kept a weekly journal and created beautiful pictures that help remind her of her fun time in pre school. One of her favorite things they did was watch little quail eggs hatch.

Thanks Kinder Cottage for a great year!
A little photo shoot with my friend Tiffany...she is awesome!

This is Madison at her first piano recital. It was held at the South Jordan Piano Gallery last night at 6:00 pm. She has been taking piano for about 7 months and is really progressing. She played swinging along by Giocosso. She said she was a little nervous, but she played like a pro. She was the first to preform, she started the recital out with a bang! Way to go Maddie! We are so proud of the talent you are developing!

Grace is now 7 months old! Where does the time go?! She still manages to smile even though she is growing her two bottom teeth and it hurts! She is rolling all over the place and getting better everyday at sitting by herself.

One of the girls most favorite things to do is to visit Dave's office and play "Lawyer" They each take a turn sitting at the desk, we all go out and knock on the door and wait to be invited in. Once inside the office the "lawyer" offers us a seat and asks what they can do to help us. One problem I remember we needed help with was someone stole our 100 puppies and said they would make a coat out of their hides. After much thought, typing and looking through thick books our "lawyer" told us to call the police, and with that, we took a business card and were on our way. Why didn't we think to call the police in the first place, it would have saved us so much money, those "lawyers" are expensive!

For a family night we went downtown to temple square. It was amazingly beautiful down there with tulips as big as my girls heads! I am so grateful for such beauty, and for my little family. How blessed I am!

For one of Madison's faith in God projects, she chose to help a widow in our ward plant flowers in her yard. It was so funny to see how excited this sister was to have Maddie around. All of these pictures and poses were her idea. It was apparent she had more in mind than just planting flowers! So cute!
Happy Easter! We have 9:00 church so these girls woke up way early to see what the Easter Bunny brought, and this year he brought kites, chocolate milk and candy, but no chocolate candy, what was he thinking!?
