April Showers bring May Flowers!
This was my first year to experience the fruits of my fall bulb planting. I loved planting these bulbs and watching them grow into little plants just breaking the surface of the soil and finally turning into these beautiful flowers. It was so exciting to me!!

Happy Easter 2011
Gotta love that Easter Bunny!

April 14th Maddie and Michelle had a hiphop recital at Trolley Square. Their dance was called "Tea Party" It was really fun that they got to dance together.

February 28th 2011 We received the shock of our lives. I went in for a gender ultrasound for baby #5, I didn't allow Dave to come because I knew it was girl #5 and that was totally ok with me, I just needed some time to myself to let it soak in. So I am sitting there and the tech lady says she is so nervous to do this ultrasound knowing I already have 4 girls, the minute she put that thing on my belly this is what we saw. We both started laughing, I couldn't stop giggling through the rest of the exam. Needless to say I was very excited to call Dave, he didn't believe me until he saw the pictures! Baby Tyler David Castleberry is due Aug.19th, but Momma has opted to plan his arrival and is scheduled to be induced on the the 15th. Can't wait to meet our little boy!!

A few little projects....

I got a new bedspread and I love it! Gotta love target and their designers that piece things together for you to copy!!

I bought Maddie's headboard and footboard on KSL for $50 and painted it white added her new bedspread she got for Christmas, made a bedskirt and viola her room is looking like a tween room instead of a little girls room!

I bought Michelle's poster bed on KSL for $30!! It was a cherry wood and I painted it black. We added her bedspread and little diva decal she got for Christmas and her room too is now full of sass! Her white whicker dresser has now been painted black to match. I am now officially addicted to spray paint!!

My most recent project has been baby #5's nursery. I will have to add more pictures, but for now this chair gives you an idea of what we have been up to in there. Of course I found this glider on KSL and it was only $10. Dave kept commenting on how ugly it was so my Mom and I turned it into this! I painted the chair white, found some material and she recovered it for me! We make a great team, and I can't wait to snuggle with my little boy in this chair, day or night!
ps. you will notice the changing table and the dresser, all the furniture in his room I spray painted a dark chocolate brown. His nursery colors are baby blue and choc. brown. It has been way too fun!
March 17th 2011
Happy St. Patricks Day!! This holiday always comes and goes without doing much more than eating green food and wearing green clothes to avoid getting pinched. This time we decided to make something special, and thanks to Family Fun magazine we found the perfect thing, rainbow cupcakes. It was quite the process, but the girls loved it!!

March 10-13th 2011
Headed to Vegas Baby, for the Mountain West Conference!!
Dave got some tickets with some friends, but during the down times we did a little site seeing. Enjoying a few wholesome sites on the strip.

Having lived in Vegas for 3 years we discovered some cool parks. We hung out in our old stomping grounds and visited some friends and played at the discovery park close to our old house in North Las Vegas. We have a lot of good memories there.

After playing at the dinosaur park we hooked up with one of my BFF's and her cute family. It was fun to see our growing kids reconnect.

We made it a priority to hit the Outlets during our visit. Dave had a few too many close calls with loosing his pants due to them being a size too big. While he was trying them on this is what I found my girls doing. People walked by and loved their display!

While Dave was a the final game I took the girls to Circus Circus. I don't know that we will ever do that again, but it's something you have to try at least once. You either have to purchase a pass or pay for rides individually, we had limited time there so I let the girls pick one ride they wanted to go on. Rachel and Grace played it safe and went on the carrousel. After bribing Michelle with $1 she and Madison rode on the big huge roller coaster. They both survived, but I don't think Michelle thought it was worth the dollar.

The drive home was a long one, everyone took naps which is always nice. Michelle liked wrapping her arms inside her shirt to sleep, Grace liked copying Michelle and Maddie just wanted to be left alone. Once Michelle was awake I found her playing dinosaurs with her hands, just like Maddie did when she was 3. A six hour drive can bring out the crazy in all of us!!

I love when you happen to have a camera handy to capture moments like this! We are in BIG trouble when the teenage years roll around!

More random pics. of my little beauties....

Back tracking...... February 14th 2011
I love my Valentine!! Dave is so good at expressing his love and appreciation for me all year long. I love this man, he is the best thing that has ever happened to me! He is such a good Husband, a loyal Friend, a loving Father, he is funny and smart! I really hit the jackpot when I stalked this boy and begged him to marry me!!

The kids love having Papa Murphy's heart shaped pizza for dinner and you just can't go wrong with their garlic chicken either!

Our annual love bug tradition!! Since I was a little girl I looked forward to making love bugs with my family on Valentines Day, so of course it's a tradition we have to carry on. The girls love it... well, they mostly love eating their creations, but they have a good time doing it!

This was a first, and I am sure it's not the last.....

Or maybe it will be the last time....

A boy in Madison's 4th grade class gave her three different stuffed animals throughout the day, as if ONE wasn't enough! Honestly, what parent promotes this kind of gift giving at this age? She was delighted, her dad...not so much.
