As many of you know my girls are all animal lovers! Since we are renting animals are not permitted and so we made a compromise with tiny caged animals, hamsters. We have had hamsters for the past 2.5 years and they have brought mountains of joy into our home, well at least to the girls. Maddie is on her second hamster, the one Santa brought her three Christmas's ago died after we spent $80 taking her to the vet to have her checked and put on antibiotics. It was with a sad heart I declined paying for a surgery to be preformed on her to figure out what her diagnosis was. She is now buried in the backyard may peanut rest in peace. On Maddie's 9th birthday she selected her new beloved hamster, Sugar. Sugar was a good hamster while she was in our home. After a couple of months of owning her, Maddie decided $20 sounded like a lot more fun, and sold her hamster to a classmate. No more hamsters for her.

Michelle's hamster, Chip has lived to the ripe old age of 3, pretty amazing for such a tiny little thing. I swear Chip has 9 lives, she has been left outside by forgetful children, but we found her, she managed to escape out of her cage and climbed into a very tall box downstairs in the basement and we found her, she crawled up into the lining of the couch and we found her. But alas, Maddie sold her hamster and made some money, and Michelle thought that sounded pretty good, so she sold her hamster to her cousins who have changed her name to Cheeto and who love her dearly!

Yeah! I'm glad you're back...now if I could just catch the fire and get inspired too *sigh*

On another note...Cheeto is very, Very, VERY beloved! She is doted on and sung to, and very well taken care of. So glad she could come to our home.
